
William Walker, MEd, LPC, CPRT, CPS-I, CPRF, CSRF, PIT, CCTP, EMDR, SE Advanced
William Walker, LPC is the Clinical Director at the Meadows Outpatient Center in Dallas. Born in Montgomery, Alabama, he moved to the Dallas, Fort Worth area at age eight and has lived there ever since.
William earned his Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Counseling Education from the University of North Texas. He began working in addiction, trauma, and mental health treatment in 2008 and has extensive experience in both adolescent residential and outpatient settings. He joined the Dallas Meadows Outpatient Center in 2019 prior to its opening, helped lead one of the first IOP groups, and was promoted to Clinical Director in 2024.
In his current role, William supervises and supports a team of Program Therapists, providing clinical guidance in the Meadows Model and Post-Induction Therapy while helping foster a strong therapeutic environment. His passion for this work grew out of his own recovery journey, which began in 2007.
Outside of work, William enjoys sports, especially college football, and spent 37 years as a football official, including 18 years at the collegiate level. He is also active in service with Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families (ACA).
