Dr. Cody Browning, MD
Dr. Cody Browning is the Medical Director of our Atlanta outpatient location and a board-certified psychiatrist in both Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his psychiatry residency and fellowship training in Addiction Psychiatry at Emory University, and is a licensed physician in the state of Georgia.
Dr. Browning brings experience in outpatient psychiatry with a focus on general adult psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and the treatment of trauma-related disorders, depression, OCD, and anxiety. In addition to his leadership role, he continues to practice clinically in an outpatient setting in Atlanta.
In his role as Medical Director, Dr. Browning oversees psychiatric and medical evaluations as well as treatment planning to support high-quality, coordinated patient care. He values a collaborative, patient-centered approach and emphasizes understanding each individual’s story in order to guide treatment.
He is originally from Missouri and was raised across several states. Outside of work, Dr. Browning enjoys spending time with his family, reading, camping, hiking, and working on classic cars.
