Brittni Sunbury is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in both Family Medicine and Psychiatric Mental Health, as well as a certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, and completed her post-master’s certification in psychiatric mental health at Liberty University.
Born and raised in Arizona, Brittni proudly served as a medic in the United States Army, where she developed a strong clinical foundation and a deep commitment to patient care. After her service, she returned home to Arizona to build her career and raise her family. She is married and a proud mother of two sons.
Brittni has been a dedicated member of MBH for over eight years. While she holds psychiatric certification, her current role focuses on physical health and substance use treatment. She provides comprehensive care including initial and ongoing medical assessments, management of chronic conditions, and guidance on medication-assisted treatment options. Her goal is to help patients achieve optimal physical health as a critical component of their recovery journey.
Her passion for mental health and substance use treatment is deeply personal, shaped by her experiences supporting loved ones. She values the trust patients place in her during some of their most vulnerable moments and finds great fulfillment in witnessing their growth, healing, and transformation.
Outside of work, Brittni enjoys hiking local Arizona trails such as Camelback Mountain and Piestewa Peak, traveling, spending time with her family, watching her sons play sports, and enjoying board games together.
