The Meadows’ Senior Fellows, Dr. Claudia Black, Dr. Shelley Uram, and Alexandra Katehakis, MFT, CSAT-S, CST-S, will be featured speakers at the 1st International Conference on Sex and Love Addiction on April 4-6, 2013, at the New York Marriott at Brooklyn Bridge in Brooklyn, NY. The Meadows is also a contributing sponsor of this event.
The conference theme is “Global Advances in Clinical Treatment” and is designed to create a platform for dialogue across disciplines and countries. The conference will provide a stage for the exchange of ideas about how the international community is providing education and treatment for sexual addiction; begin an international dialogue on the impact of cybersex; disseminate information on the most current tools and research on assessment and treatment; provide collaboration across associations and professional organizations to further knowledge and reduce stigma.
“We are pleased to be presenting and sponsoring the First International Conference on Sex and Love Addiction,” said Jim Dredge, CEO for The Meadows. “Our Senior Fellows who will be presenting are leaders in the fields of sex addiction and trauma.”
