A leader in the industry, Meadows Behavioral Healthcare is a network of specialized programs including inpatient and outpatient treatment for drug and alcohol addiction, trauma, eating disorders, sexual addiction, behavioral health conditions, and co-occurring disorders, as well as a whole range of workshops and standalone Brain Centers offering state-of-the-art neurofeedback and other services. Our evidence-based approach is rooted in decades of clinical experience, with more than 40 years in the treatment field.
The Meadows Main Campus
Our flagship program is The Meadows Main Campus in Wickenburg, Arizona. The Meadows Model of treatment was specifically designed for trauma survivors by our own Pia Mellody and a team of other world-renowned experts including Dr. Peter Levine, Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, and Dr. Claudia Black. The Meadows is committed to helping patients heal and learn the skills necessary to cope with trauma’s devastating — and often hidden — effects. These may include substance use disorders (including alcohol and a wide range of legal and illegal drugs) as well as mental health conditions including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar. At The Meadows Main Campus we address all of these related co-occurring conditions together, believing that true health and recovery only come when we heal mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Our Other Programs
In addition to our work at The Meadows Main Campus, our nearby sister campuses are equipped with highly trained staff to treat a variety of other specialized conditions. The Meadows Ranch addresses anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders, with separate programs for women and adolescent girls. Gentle Path at The Meadows offers intensive, experiential-based inpatient treatment for men with sexual addiction issues, while Willow House for Women is an inpatient program for women that focuses on healing from intimacy and love addiction, sexual compulsivity, emotional trauma, and co-occurring disorders. The Claudia Black Young Adult Center offers inpatient addiction, trauma, and dual diagnosis treatment exclusively for young men & women 18-25. And our Rio Retreat Center offers a wide range of workshops as well as professional development trainings and private intensives to help individuals on their own unique journey of healing.
Meadows Behavioral Healthcare also offers co-occurring addiction and mental health treatment at Serenity View Recovery Center just outside of Dallas, at Broad Beach Recovery Center in Malibu, California, and at Bournewood Health Systems outside of Boston. For those requiring less acute care, you can take advantage of The Meadows Outpatient Center in Scottsdale, Dallas, and northern California’s Silicon Valley.
