The Meadows Alumni Association is pleased to host an alumni workshop in Houston, Texas, for alumni on October 23, 2012, from 7:00 to 8:30pm. Delphi Medina, LMSW, LCDC, CSAT, will lead the discussion on "Moderation." It will be held at The Council on Alcohol and Drugs at 303 Jackson Street and no registration is required to attend.
Medina has been in the addictions field for 20 years as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She trained with both Pia Mellody, a Meadows' Senior Fellow, and Patrick Carnes, expert in the field of sexual addiction. Medina is employed by the University of Texas Employees Assistance Program in Houston, TX.
