Neurofeedback

The science of self-regulation

Neurobehavioral Therapy

Part of our innovative Brain Center, neurofeedback allows patients to use state-of-the-art neurobehavioral equipment to aid in grounding and self-regulation to confront their deeper issues with a calmer spirit. This cutting-edge approach addresses the neuroscience of trauma by attempting to better regulate the limbic system in the brain, which allows for better integration and implementation.

How It Works

Neurofeedback, also called neurobiofeedback or neurotherapy, uses real-time displays of brain activity to teach self-regulation, which helps patients to confront deeper issues with a calmer spirit by better regulating the limbic system of the brain. Neurofeedback also addresses brain dysregulation, improving symptoms related to anxiety, depression, addictive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and emotional disturbances.
