The Daring Way™ workshop is designed to help participants develop shame resilience skills and the daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead. This workshop is based on Dr. Brené Brown’s exciting 14 years of grounded theory research on shame, shame resilience, the power of vulnerability, courage, and connection and is led by a Certified Daring Way™ facilitator and Certified Rising Strong facilitator. It explores topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness.
Break Free From Shame
Participants are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The goals of this workshop are to help participants:
- Understand shame, how to become resilience to it, how to have courage in your life to build relationships and increase connection
- Understand the power of vulnerability as Dr. Brown says, “Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, accountability, and authenticity.”
- Learn what empathy is and have the opportunity to practice this important skill
- Learn how to have more self-compassion with oneself
Workshops run 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted. The schedule is flexible, accommodating the group process.
