Titled “Freedom From the Past: Grieving the Losses and Traumas of Life,” The Meadows’ grief workshop teaches participants to deal with the pain they feel after a loss. As a workshop participant, you’ll feel genuine support from our staff and from other participants who know how it feels to walk in your shoes.
Participants learn not only how to face life’s hurdles, but also how to pick themselves up and triumph over their pain. They learn about the grieving process and the steps they must take to successfully address the feelings that engulf them after losing a loved one.
As this workshop helps participants to start thinking more clearly, they often realize that they’ve been exhibiting negative, self-destructive behaviors that negatively affect those around them. They then receive help to properly handle their confusing emotions. Enjoying the freedom of self-expression, participants learn to evaluate their feelings and problems, and to address them in a manner that will help end their distorted mentality and behaviors.
Cost
As with any workshop offered at The Meadows, this event does not have insurance coverage, but participants can expect to receive sufficient care from our staff.
Participants are responsible for making their own lodging reservations.
