A series of cutting-edge workshops are offered at The Meadows, in addition to inpatient treatment and the extended-care facilities, Mellody House and Dakota. These workshops are designed to meet the needs of those who have not experienced our inpatient treatment and as a source of renewal for our alumni. The following workshops are currently offered at The Meadows:

Survivors I
Survivors II
Couples
Love Addiction / Love Avoidance
Family Workshop
Sexual Recovery

The workshops fill rapidly, so please allow three to four weeks’ reservation time to ensure specific dates for any workshop.

Workshops are not covered by insurance carriers.

Workshop participants are responsible for their own lodging reservations and cancellations. We refer you to Desert Lodging at 928-684-3572 (toll-free 800-654-3572) or the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce at 928-684-5479.

Dress for the workshops should be comfortable, casual and in good taste. To avoid distraction, patients, staff, workshop participants and family members are requested to dress appropriately. The following items are considered inappropriate for the sessions: bathing suits, miniskirts, tank tops, halter tops, sleeveless tops and shorts. Shoes are required.

The Meadows has a “No Smoking” policy, except in designated outdoor areas. Cigarettes are allowed; cigars, pipes and smokeless tobacco are prohibited. Patients, family members and workshop participants are expected to abide by this policy.

Minors are not allowed to smoke on the property.
